The cop Let me GO!!!! WHOOHOO!!!

I was going to work yesterday morning at 6 a.m. and was cruising a long, the speed limit went from 50 to 45 then to 30... well I stop at a light and look behind me and there's a cop sitting behind me.. I don't think anything of it. as soon as the light turns green boom, his lights go on. I pull over and he says I was doing 50 in a 30! which I know I wasn't doing that since it turns 30 about 100 yds before the stoplight and I was slowing down for it. and then he said I did an improper lane change.. not signaling for 100 feet before I changed lanes.... anyway, asked where I was going I told him I was going to work ( I work for the local ambulance association.) and he says he wants to see license, insurance, registration etc..e tc.. I give him my license and start digging for everything else.. then he says, I'm giving you a verbal warning slow it down and have a good day at work.. ( I was wearing my paramedic uniform)

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!! he let me off! I love my uniform!! and good thing to cause I couldn't find my registration!!!!!

I got let go a few weeks ago, I had a headlight out and an rejected inspected sticker (from July ), and I thought I was lucky! You, sir, a lucky beyond words

LOL, and how many times have I been let go ever? Once.

I argued with the cop another time and he let me ago. So sorta twice I've lucky but I've been to court more time than being let off the hook.

Get a ticket? go to court and make a good and sound presentation and WIN!

I've been complimented so many times in court.

Cops use dirty tricks to get you to not appeal. Watch out for them. They will say they are cutting you some slack or they will bring up some other weird charge and tell you if you appeal they will bring that charge up.

I got out of a 96-in-a-65 MPH ticket. I think the police had to have a certain amount of 'practice hours' by laser before issuing tickets and I was just a lab rat. I did proceed to accumulate 11 points before selling the Eclipse (it would have fell apart pretty quickly anyway).
