I thought it was the Tornados. Oh well.

I've always wondered..... They taught us that during a tornado, around here, the safest place was in the basement. Why don't they have basements in homes in Kansas???

most of my friends from high school are in K.U. ... most of them love it becauser they haven't seen anything other than Kansas... lol
however there are some really good-lookin ladies in KS

In Iowa, it depends. If they do it abbreviated, I only push 'i' once, otherwise it's at the end of the list. Standardization is needed

The other cool thing about living in Kansas is that you can come up with retarded reasons for living there only to find out that other states have the same benefits.

i have started pronouncing kansas kansaw like as in arkansas.
arkansas was a state 30 some odd years before kansas so it should be pronounced kansaw.

if you know anyone from kansaw you would know what im talking about.

But it's name is derived from the kans-uhh (Kansa) indian tribe.

Not our fault that Arkansans are inbred-rednecks. 😉

All that said, I really don't mind living in Wichita...but yes, Western Kansas is quite barren.
