carrying a gun on blm land is not prohibited.

I wonder if it will affect this (below) when on BLM land, will there be less or no distinction between loaded and not loaded as the bill progresses?

"Section 25400 does not apply to, or affect, licensed hunters or fishermen carrying pistols, revolvers, or other firearms capable of being concealed upon the person while engaged in hunting or fishing, or transporting those firearms unloaded when going to or returning from the hunting or fishing expedition."

Guns cure cancer
Death cures all ills. A final irony felt only when a white-hot, stinging bullet pierces your squishy body. Edit: Or when you die of "natural causes." But I thought that lead, hate, and fear are also natural.

I believe the right to carry in national parks happened under Obama, something he signed off on if I remember correctly. One should be able to carry in a national park.
I believe it was lame duck push by W, but Obama could've killed it and didn't.

I really feel like they need to specify that carried guns should not have a chambered round. I've seen way too many accidents where people have accidentally discharged their firearm which is a very serious matter. I also believe that discharging a weapon in this manner should be a felony if an innocent person is injured by it.

It's all bullshit pandering to the firearms fringe. The feds can't force reciprocity on the States.

Repubs are all about States' rights until they aren't & this is obviously one of those issues.

Love to see our government working in the opposite of what the majority of the citizens want. I thought that was only what banana republicans do. Oh wait we have one now.

No gun zones make victim zones. This is the type of thing you anti-2A nutters don't get. If someone wants to shoot up a school, they don't care that the law says they can't bring a gun on to school property. But the law abiding guy picking up his child that had to leave his gun in his car and park off site cannot get to it quickly if something did happen.

Gun zones make Victim zones.

Nice and vague, huh? Not to mention disconnected from reality. It's not like a majority or even a plurality of Americans wanted Trump as Prez, but here we are. Obama, OTOH, had a clear mandate from the people.
lol
Trump has a mandate.

He has a mandate with Roy Moore in a couple of weeks, is that what you meant?

Trump is President by dint of an anomalous result of the Electoral College. Any reasonable person finding themselves in that position wouldn't embark upon a radical agenda. Common sense & decency would preclude that. Trump & his followers are apparently deficient in that regard.

He won the election, he has a mandate. Case closed.

Yes, that's why law enforcement is all for this...NOT!

How do they tell the good guys from the bad guys?

They can't. It's impossible.

Think about this for a second. Do you think a "bad guy", someone looking to do harm, doesn't carry a gun on school property because the law says not to? The only people that won't carry are law abiding citizens if that's what the rules are. The guy who doesn't follow the law doesn't care that it is a gun free zone.
