can u guyz explain the both whole storys detailed?

Actually, the story starts with the original Dragonball, where the main character Goku is a little boy. DBZ starts with him grown-up and with his own little boy Gohan, who grows into a teenager over the course of DBZ.

Granted DB/DBZ is no Ghost in the Shell, but it is entertaining and has an impressive scope and an imaginative continuing storyline. I'd say it's comparable to the Star Trek franchise, which is good as entertainment but second-rate as science fiction ("Let's fire a stream of goofyion particles through the deflector dish!").

1. Some bad guy comes.
2. He challenges the greatest fighter to a match (which happens to be Goku)
3. They yell at each other.
4. Goku powers up.
5. The other guy yells at him.
6. Goku finshes powering up.
7. Goku beats other guy into the ground.
8. Other guy, almost defeated, gets a sudden burst of energy and powers up.
9. Other guy becomes powerful and almost beats Goku.
10. Goku starts to yell even harder.
11. He gets a new hair style and this makes him powerful.
12. He defeats the other guy.
13. Repeat steps 1 - 12 as necessary.

dragonball(orig/z/gt) is basicly a huge epic about goku and his friends and family.

db original
-starts with goku as a young boy
-introduction/meeting of other main and supporting characters: bulma, krillin, yamcha, roshi, piccollo, etc.
-most of the story revolves around collecting the dragonballs
-main villians: pilaf, red ribon army, piccollo

dbz
-starts with goku as a man with a young son gohan
-gohan = wuss. lol
-character development/training of gohan
-the focus of the story was suppose to pass on from goku to gohan originally, but was changed to keep fans happy.
-story revolves around saving earth/universe and finding dragonballs to repair damage.
-main villians: vegeta, freeza, cell, buu

dbgt
-starts with goku being wished into a little kid again by pilaf
-recaptures some of the silliness and adventuring of db original.
-goku, trunks, pan travel thru space searching for dragonballs. they need to be recovered within a year or earth is destroyed.
-main villians: bebi, dragons
