I don't believe the Steelers will do much in the Playoffs. Not b/c of talent but due to coaching. Yesterday demonstrated that the Steelers coaching staff is not able to make adjustments during the game to win.

The Steelers were stuck between a rock and a hard place. They couldn't allow Brady much time in the pocket because their secondary was pretty shaky. They also couldn't generate any pressure on him and, when successful, couldn't then compensate for the Pats throwing the quick screen passes to the outside.

Still, how anybody makes 5 catches in a row against your team is beyond me.

Step 1: Draft a QB from Michegan in the 6th round...

I wouldn't read too much into the Ravens lack of performance last night & by the same token I wouldn't suddenly decide the Colts are better then the Patriots.

If/when these two teams meet in the playoffs you'll be looking at the real superbowl, just like years ago when the Cowboys played the 49'ers & either team will be capable of winning.

Also all you sad-sacks claiming that the only reason the Patriots win is because they cheat need to get a clue ... they did somthing every team in the NFL has done & the league made an example out of them.

Except this year Dallas, Green Bay, and Minnesota (maybe) are much more capable of taking the AFC than last year's Bears. (Sorry waggy :p)

Dallas is the only team that has a credible shot. Unlike GB, they are a complete team.

There is no way in hell the Vikings make the SB. They're the Bears with a worse defense, better RB, and no passing game whatsoever.

Ye of little faith - that Pats still have to go through the mighty Dolphins and Jets first:p

Maybe but what's the point? PM had 250yds and 4 TD's and was only 3min into the 3rd. No reason to risk it just to pad stats. Those DB's for the Ravens are going to have nightmares about having to face him again.

You're right, only complete losers would keep their starting QB in in the 3rd and ESPECIALLY the 4th quarter to throw more touchdowns in a game that was obviously already won.

;):D

I agree. Billgate* Belicheat* with his team of flamingly homoerotic spying voyeurs*, the Cheatrygateriots***, led by Tomgate Bradycheat*** (one for each spyring***) are nothing more than classless, talentless cheating gates********* who gain security in bullygating the opposition through videostealycheatergating.

You need to either go on meds or stop taking them..either way.

You mean I need to inject even more liquid Robert Kraft into my ass?!!?!?! On a side note, this would explain my abnormal asterisk fetish. SHIFFFFT-8!!!!!!!!!

rawr

but really.

The only one of those teams I give an outside chance to win is the Cowboys ... Green Bay has no running game & Minnesota is a very flawed team.

Green Bay's running game has been much improved since Ryan Grant took over the starting role.

Yes, of course, and also assuming the Patriots beat their opponent. Lets face it, the Steelers aren't very good on the road this year, they'll have a tough time in Foxboro OR Indy in the playoffs. Its clear that the Pats and Colts are the two best teams in the AFC, but naturally anything can happen. Maybe the Browns repeat the '05 Steelers

True...he's definitely gifted. He's small and very quick & agile.

As for the Colts. They are a good team. They were the first ones that really gave the Patriot Offense a challenge. Football games are won with an effective defense and as long as they can disrupt the rhythm of the Patriot offense, they should be able to score on the Patriot defense. The concern is that the defense doesn't tire out like their last meeting and that the offense can stand up in the 4th quarter and get 3rd down conversions whenever they need them.

But Dallas looks too strong this year. Dallas will take the NFC for a super bowl against New England or the Colts. I'm leaning towards Dallas-Colts.

Dallas does look strong but I think if Charles Woodson is healthy & covering T.O. (Al Harris can't), KGB is at full strength, and Brett Favre isn't trying to force throws into double coverage... than the Packers have a good chance of beating them. The Packers weren't healthy... they came back & almost won the first match up.

Another thing to remember, Dallas has been without Terry Glenn all year, and he looks to start practice this week. If all goes well, he'll be back for week 16 or 17, and be a starter in the playoffs. Plus, Anthony Henry has been fighting a high ankle sprain and wasn't starting during the GB game, either. If GB and Dallas play in the NFC Championship game, both teams will be stronger than the first time.

Dallas should still win that matchup, but it definitely could go either way.
