The cockroaches are scurrying

I don't watch TV. No, really. I hadn't seen Snow in a long time. He looks like hell.
He'll go back to Fox, make $$$$ part time, and hopefully get better. I don't like Bush, but I don't like to see people suffer with cancer. My best wishes regardless of what I may think otherwise.

Snow said. "I've told people when my money runs out, then I've got to go."
According to The Washington Post, Snow makes $168,000 as the White House

No wonder he can relate to the average Americans so well, making "just" $168,000. If he doesn't quit, he'll be living on the street!

I'm sick of all the press secretaries. It doesn't matter if the President is a Democrat or Republican. These people are professional bull sheeters and masters of spin.

Tony Snow has health issues, so I don't hold it against him to want to leave. He just uses that tired old excuse that you can't make money working for the government.

I think he's been drinking too much of his own kool aid. About time, glad to see him go... I don't think much of anyone in the white house these days. I'll start thinking better when bush has to actually "FIRE" a few of these people that stand up to his BS and not take it over money or political gain. I'm not gonna feel sorry for the guy because he has cancer. Sure cancer is a bad experience if you don't die from it. But, if your still a scrooge or unfaithful, I'm not gonna let that influence me in my feelings. Besides your not suppose to feel sorry for people.

Quoted for pure idiocy. I'm sure all of those people that have died from cancer had a wonderful death....

you're saying we should feel sorry for him just because he had a cancer scare a year ago?

I guess after losing all crediblity its time to go back to the professional propaganda business at FoxNews.

Do this administrations lies lead to many people losing their lives.. meaning Snow had a bad experience vs his administrations lies have caused many deaths of US soldiers and Iraqi peoples.

It isn't about HIM it's about US. Do we hold ourselves to a higher standard, or do we wish harm when harm would do no good? Snow's leaving, and I say good riddance, but that's apart from anything else. Ask yourself what is right, then do it. What you decide has nothing to do with Snow. Again, for my part I wish him well, whether he deserves it or not. That is the right thing for me.

Well, at least he has insurance. I've known people who lost their jobs because of the possibility of a long, expensive bout with cancer.

I have to wonder though if Snow wasn't a celebrity, would he have had the opportunity to switch jobs to something less demanding/stressful?

He does look ill, and I hate to see him paid to defend policy no one likes. It's just disgusting to have that job. I feel sorry for him.

Well, be it resolved, if you are a lair, Rupert Murdock pays better. And working for Murdock allows you to hide behind a camera and not see the reactions of all the disbelievers. But when you are white house press secretary, you are dealing with some very experienced connoisseurs of fine bullshit, and you can't miss the the face to face reactions of those who know a whopper when they hear another fanciful spun total illusion. Be it also resolved that democrats don't cause cancer or wish it on anyone.

Sadly cancer just happens to be Tony Snow's karma. At least Tony can freely choose his employer. Rove on the other hand, may have to answer for his lies in a witness chair.
Sometimes life is fair.

Question, should we ask a Presidential press secretary to raise their right hand and swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth---so help them God and criminal perjury?

you're saying we should feel sorry for him just because he had a cancer scare a year ago?

Snow has been undergoing chemotherapy after doctors discovered a recurrence of colon cancer in March. He said the last of eight scheduled chemotherapy treatments would be on Friday. On Monday he will have a CAT scan to evaluate his progress.

Um, he's currently getting freaking chemo, I'd call that a bit more than a cancer scare.

I have no love for Fox,Tony or GWB's admin, but on a human level, I do feel sorry for the man, I wish him well, and that's an important distinction for a thinking, caring, human being to make.

I attended the deaths of hundreds of people because of my career choice and it is the hardest thing I've done as a fellow human. Death is a cruel motherfucker, and none of us are getting out of here alive.

If wishing someone ill because you don't like them or their politics, you diminish yourself as a member of society, thus diminishing us all.

And quite honestly, you will never accomplish what Snow has done with his life, at least he's not shouting on the internet and acting the fool.

He's already had his colon removed due to cancer and is probably going through chemo now. Notice his hair loss...

Snow, having suffered for years from ulcerative colitis, was at an increased risk for colon cancer.[4] In February 2005, this risk proved real, as he developed cancer in his colon.[5] After having his colon removed, he returned to work in April 2005. On Friday, March 23, 2007, Snow announced that he would be undergoing surgery the following Monday to remove and investigate an abdominal growth.[6] On March 27, the White House announced that the growth was cancerous and had metastasized.[7][8][9] In Snow's absence, the press briefings began to be covered by Deputy Dana Perino. On April 21, Snow made an appearance at the annual White House Correspondent's Association Dinner, where he introduced a joking tape by David Letterman. Snow returned to work on April 30, 2007. On Saturday, May 12, Snow delivered the Commencement Address for the Catholic University of America, in Washington, D.C., where he was presented with a degree of Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa.

Well this is an outrageous insult to the cockroaches, if you ask me.

The other problem is that white house security won't let us use bug spray on the Press secretary. Even if the press secretary may wish to use bug spray on reporters.

I don't see any problem with what I said... I guess some people read that wrong... I guess I experience DEATH as game over... Your experience is over when you die... So it would be bad if you didn't die (first) from it. Never really found a dead person to have a bad experience.... Then again I don't talk to dead people...I don't see em either.

This is true because we will all have a new court jester to make fun of.

The man looks like he aged 30 years in the short time he has been at the WH. The problem with a thing like cancer; the amount of stress in your life doesn't help your immune system which in turn doesn't help your fight with cancer.

He should have stepped down a LOONG time ago.

I hope he gets better.
