The Cleveland Show and Family Guy

Just watched the series premier of The Cleveland show and the season premier of Family Guy. Well got to say there were no surprises as far as the Cleveland show goes, it's just as band as I thought it would be. Whoever green lighted the idea that they should give the blandest character on family guy his own spin off should be shot. The opening few scenes of the show where stewie says "what the hell he gets his own show!" says it all.

Luckily the season premier of family guy rocked. One of the best episodes I've seen in a while. Loved all the creative alternate dimensions. The world of fire hydrants Brian "love it". Then the world of naked gay men Stewie "love it". The world of deceptive background art lol.

Yea I agree. The Clevland show was awful. I hope it gets better.

American dad was decent. Not great but not bad.

But Family Guy was great. I love it when they let Seth Green bring his stuff from Adult cartoon then makes fun of him.
 
Isn't it the same writers for all three shows? Why is there so much discrepancy in the quality of the writing?

The Disney animated FG was cool, and when Mort walked in...LOL

who did they get to draw the disney animations? i thought it was pretty spot-on and the song they bursted into was funny enough to be legit
 
I hate Family Guy, but I have to admit the newest episode had me chuckle a few times, mostly during the Disney bit.

Cleveland Show should have never been approved, written, or aired.

And I've never seen an entire episode of American Dad.

New Simpsons was pretty good too.

I suppose as far as American dad episodes go it was funny but I still found it to be a lot
worse than family guy. The characters never jell for me the way they do on family guy.

That was the best Family Guy I've seen in awhile. The Disney part and Peter as a dog cracked me up.

Not here, I find AD consistently better than FG even though I'm more of a Family Guy fan, and Sunday they were both pretty good. Cleveland Show was meh.
 
usually fg > ad for me but i have a softspot for platoon and rambo 🙂
the guy making the "fuh fuh fuh fuh" helicopter sound in the golf cart had me rolling

American Dad is ALWAYS bad. It's too political, the characters are too out there, and the personalities and dynamics of the family are completely shallow just for starters.
