Rules:

1. I will post a short clip (around 30-sec) of a work by a composer (from baroque to 20th century), and the first person to name the composer, and piece will gain a point.
2. If there are multiple pieces with the same name by the same composer, the winner is required to differentiate it from the others with the same name. Differentiation can come from opus number, year composed, key signature, etc.
3. Another way of winning a point is to name the performer/conductor/orchestra/chamber group that recorded the work. This point doesn't have to be awarded to the same person who names the song.
4. I will update once most of these have been guessed correctly.

Nos. 001, 002, 003, 004, 005, 009, 011, 012, 013, 016, 019, 020, 021 are played by very famous performer/conductor/orchestras, so you guys should starting to guess those too.

Dang it, it sounds so familiar, but I can't figure it out. :(

The others were somewhat similar, I knew almost all of them, but couldn't remember who did them. Oh, well.

2. Rachmaninoff for sure . . . guessing g minor prelude?
3. some mozart string quartet in eb
4. Sibelius violin concerto, 3rd movement i think
5. Sounds like mahler...5th symphony? i know it's not 1 or 2

9. Dvorak cello concerto, 1st movement
10. String quartet in C, guessing Mendelssohn, probably a 3rd movement (Scherzo)
11. Mendelssohn violin concerto in e minor, 3rd movement
