Every time you post about your fears of the right and civil war etc. you encourage them to feel self important and threatening rather than that the gas escaping their fundaments the the dying gasps of a culture so backward and dated it has no modern relevance. The modern Republican party is a joke. The job of Democrats is to bring changes that are adaptive in the modern world, stuff you need an education to understand and thus also need to educate and explain.

Things are going to have to get a lot worse before a civil war happens imo. We lead such comfortable lives we think because people yell at each other at a rally a civil war is brewing. First, our economy is going to have to get a lot worse. Like 20% unemployment for years on end. That will motivate people to actually do something besides fat rage from behind their computer within their air conditioned homes on social media. Second, we need to lose weight collectively. Not sure how all these people raging about a civil war expect to actually fight one when they wheeze when getting up from their ranting to take a dump. Going into battle with a gun will probably get them killed. Not from another bullet. But from a heart attack.

Consider this: almost everyone who ever went on a shooting spree knew there would be nobody shooting back at lest initially. The loudest voices for violent uprising are essentially cowards who wouldn't engage in any conflict where both sides were armed and ready.
