damn, looks like they are pretty much pulling out of Iowa (where I live)
EDIT: OK, maybe not out of Iowa...but out of some of the larger markets in Iowa

i guess with the bankruptcy court being able to go right through state laws, the dealers won't be able to protest using state franchise laws (which is what cost GM so much to close oldsmobile)


48 getting the axe in texas. the dealer near me that just bought a GMC dealership out got axed, along with another two of his locations in the houston area.
edit: oh, it's his chrysler/jeep operations getting the axe there, his dodge operation is surviving


150 remain in texas but i think i caught some that are separate companies operating from one location

wow...the 3 that are near me are closing! it'll be weird seeing them gone, especially after driving past them for years now..

I wonder how the idiots in my town managed to save their dealership. They can't sell a car right now if they tried.
