well I just finished The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers after seeing New Line's versions. Now should I wait to see The Return of King first or continue on with the next book? Ah which path to take?

Personally I'd see the movies first to avoid initial comparisons. Then read the book afterwards to gain more depth.
 
Im leaning towards watching the movie first too. I just know that the book will be more thorough and at least slightly different. The movie might be a letdown if it doesnt live up to the book which will prob happen. Then again the movie has been visually stunning (aside from the inconsistent storylines) and overall a great production.
