The Chef's Secret
One of these places opened in town recently. The idea behind the store is that they have a menu of 14 or so items each month. You pay them $X.XX, go to their store, and assemble the meals yourself (this allows you to make the meals as you like them - for example, tons of cheese, or hardly any cheese at all). They already have all the ingredients prepared, cleaned, chopped, etc. Then they package the meals that you have made, you stick them in the freezer at home, and you have gourmet meals ready to heat. Making the meals is supposed to be part of the fun. A buddy of mine sent his wife to do this; she had a great time, and he said the food was awesome.
My wife thinks this is something she might enjoy. Has anyone done this?
