The Charleton Heston theory

The Charleton Heston theory is something I've noticed in my years of watching his flicks. The theory goes that you can take almost any Charleton Heston line from any of his movies, then add a Coordinating Conjunction or Conjunctive Adverb and the phrase "I'll blow you're damn head(s) off," and the theme of the line will not be changed. Some examples:

"Let my people go or I'll blow your damn head off."

"Get your paws off me you damn dirty apes or I'll blow your damn heads off."

"Soylent Green is people; I'll blow your damn head off."

Post any other ones you come up with. Coordinating Conjunctions are "for and nor but or yet so". Conjunctive Adverbs are things like "however" and "although", usually preceeded by a semicolon which ironically can be used as both a Conjunctive Adverb and a Coordinating Conjunction.

The first one is from Ten Commandments (EDIT: Sorry, Moses)

Second is, as you said, Planet of the Apes

The third is Soylent Green. It's an adaptation of a Harry Harrison novel. Did okay in the theaters, and I seem to remember that part of it is where Greenday got their name from.

In the movie there's an open-air market where people go to get their food, all made by this company called Soylent who found alternative food sources after some sort of world disaster. There were previous foods, all looking like bread, called Red, Blue, Yellow... you get the idea. Well anyway in this market there's an old shop with the windows painted over acting like a sort of billboard. There are three windows and across them is written "Wednesday is Soylent Green Day", but because of the spaces in the windows it reads more like "Wednesday" "IsSoylent" "GreenDay". Not sure if that's really how the band got the name or not though, but it's a nice theory.

You see one Chucky Heston flick you've seen them all. He's good at playing himself. I think his best work was the comedy piece he did parodying himself when he recited the lyrics of "Cop Killer" by Ice T to Congress. Funniest damn thing I have ever heard.😀
