The changing times.... LOL Funny story

As we all know, everyone hates using the public sh!tter. But it was a nessecary evil and no one else was in the restroom so I went to buisness. Next thing I know, I hear the door open and to make it worse the son-of-a-bitch gets into the stall next to me. Then I hear his voice, "What's up man?".
I just ignore him thinking he's crazy.
"Hello? Hey what's up man?" I still continue ignoring him...
"Hello? How's it going?"
Finally I am just like, "Uhhh... It's going all right. How about yourself?"
Then I hear, "Hold on, someone in the next stall is trying to talk to me..."

I was in shock, man how the times have changed...

Does anyone else here go into stealth mode when someone else is in another stall? I live in the dorms so the situation always arises, but for some reason when another person goes into the stall beside me I try and be as quite as possible (no splashes, noises, etc.). Is this weird?

Yep, me too. I pretend like they can't see my feet and don't even know I"m there... everytime I go into a bathroom and I can see someone feet below the stall, I always try to make a lot of noise. I immediately turn on the faucet or hand dryer and do my business. I know it's gets really uncomfortable in a quiet bathroom when someone else walks in on ya.

I was told (by an American who had been to Germany many years ago) that there are pay-per-use bathrooms in Europe that play a certain length of music, and then once they're done, the door opens up, and you'd better be done by that point, too.

Is that really true, or is it an exaggeration?

This story is a joke, and an old one at that. I bet he heard it somewhere and decided to pass it off as his own true account, or is going to say that he told the joke in the first person because it sounded better that way.

I purposely try to make as much noise as possible. It's a friggin bathroom! What, you think that the guy in the stall next to you isn't doing the exact same thing? Why should I be ashamed of it? When I hear someone in get into the stall next to me I grab on and start heaving like there's no tomorrow. You should hear some of the noises I've made This one time the guy next to me asked if I was ok

Erm, I can't even take a leak in a public restroom if there's anyone else in the room nonethless sh!t. I haven't shat in any public restroom excepting the one in Caffein Den off of Stockton, CA's Miracle Mile. I had the sh!ts real bad and just couldn't hold it.
