No, the chan sites aren't geeky, they are just messed up. Let me put it this way - 4chan users were outraged when child porn was banned.

The ones that try too hard were.

Thing is 4chan used to be a lot better of a place for spirited adult-oriented stuff (/b/)...the other sub-forums used to be higher quality too.

When those like the cry-babies from here entered the mix they just don't have the skills to participate without destroying things.

People like to say they are part of 4chan when it's cool and not when it's also cool.
