The CD-Rom Icon hidden in WinXP !!!!!!!

suddenly my CD-Rom Icon was Hidden in WInXP ... i try to restart ...

can you still access your cdrom? if not maybe it isn't hidden. it might not be functioning correctly .. heh a hidden cdrom .. you don't have any permissions blocking you do you ? ..
