saw this at the SD Fair last week, not a fan of Turkey but I love bacon. I avoided as there were plenty of super unhealthy food options that didn't contain nasty ass Turkey.

it's flavorless, I've had it deep fried, I've had it smoked. The best was deep fried with a Cajun rub, but really the only reason I liked it was the rub. And you could put that rub on any other meat and I would have enjoyed it infinitely more. A few times a year or so I come across someone out here who claims the only reason I don't like Turkey is "you've never had it prepared right!" I've had it 20 different ways and it's always the same boring shit. I find it ironic when people say that, nobody ever has to say that about chicken or beef. It's only Turkey that's apparently hard as shit to prepare where it actually tastes good.

Fair enough, I agree it is less flavorful than other types of meat, however I do enjoy turkey every once and awhile (3-5 times a year max). I would much rather have a filet mignon than some turkey ANY day.
