The woman and I have to go through pre-marriage counseling with the Catholic church since she is Catholic. Since we are trying to get the Priest here in town to do our counseling she started attending there so he would recognize her. The priest handed her donation envelopes with her name and dates already filled out.

Seriously, what the hell is that all about?
 
I was raised Catholic. They'd give *everyone* in the church a booklet of those pre-filled-out donation envelopes once a year.

Never knew that letting young boys blow you could bring in so much money. Guess I studied the wrong stuff in college.

it is done so they can keep track of your donations and mail you a total at the end of the year so you can use it for income tax purposes. people who itemize can deduct these charitable contributions on their income tax.
 
Geez, why do you guys insist upon bashing everything religious-oriented? I am seriously offended by a lot of the stuff said in here.
