Hi, I've got a MSI 6330 Motherboard (Via KT133 chipset, 686A southbridge) MSI is supposed to make really stable mobos, but every time I'm in SiSoft Sandra, and I click on "Mainboard Information" it freezes cold. Every time. Then I have to reboot. While I'm in this topic, my board seems stable in usual cases, but sometimes when I'm playing a D3D game and I hit the window button or Alt+tab to get out for a moment, it crashes and reboots automatically.

Do I have an unstable MSI board?

Is there anything that I can do to make it stable? Before I reformatted, I also had the same problem: looking up Mobo info in SiSoft Sandra froze the computer totally. And I'm using Win2k Pro. The keyboard locks didn't respond, the mouse didn't respond, Ctrl+Alt+Del didn't respond. A total crash (except for the blue screen)

1) get the newest Sandra.
2) if that didn't help, go to options for sandra and right click on the "motherboard information" module and uncheck the "include DMI/SMBios information"

Thanks for the advice. I'll try it out. So my board should be stable, but Sandra may be crashing my board right? MSI is supposed to be known for making really stable boards.
