BTW, it is pretty easy to explain why God doesn't and cannot exist. Philippine Mango. Were God to exist, he certainly wouldn't have allowed such a person to exist.

I must disagree... Philippine Mango is proof that God has a very perverted and disturbing sense of humor.

Do you even know what happens to a Mango in the sun?

Until you can tell me what happens to a grape eaten by a mango that misguidedly visits the sun to buy a condo, then you have no place speaking.

Do you have any idea about Planetery Visits? Have you not even heard of the Electroweak theory? Do you know what happens to a Mango that is left in a puddle of internet? Do you actually know anything about Fruit?

rofl. :D

Well, we've had a buttload of posts talking about how this is going to be a flamefest, but so far only a handful related to serious theological debates.

Is OT losing its edge?

This argument has been played out so many times on the internet, I think it just passed phantom of the opera as the longest running show in history. Everyone knows what's going to happen and nobody wants to go through the motions anymore.

There is a hole in the fossil record as well. Who knows what really happened? Not I.

Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it doesn't 'explain things'.

Well, happened somewhere else.
Instead of making the argument here, the nuts have started it in the dinosaur thread.

So I'm guess that no one has read this.

Not only is it highly unlikely that anyone here has read this, it's unlikely that any of us ever will read that pile of dog feces of a book. The only possible "case" for a "Creator" that anyone can "build" goes something like this: "I don't understand how the universe works or got started, ergo, a Creator must exist."

Which is utterly stupid.
Yeah, almost as stupid as the theory of evolution, lol.

No, really... DNA just formed on it's own in a puddle!

And God always was?

Yes. God, by definition, is the creator of the whole universe. He is the creator of time. Therefore, He is not limited by the time dimension He created, so has no beginning in time.

So the book has something to do with "intelligent design" I take it.
That means that there are likely no facts in the book, and that either contains baseless assumptions, fiction, or the requirement of blind faith.

Intelligent Design = Creationism.

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Gen 1:1 <--- Only evidence of God, brought in a book that has been changed countless times depening on the king at that particular time.

Once god can be recreated in a scientific peer reviewed experiement I am sure more people will believe, until than there is no god. Amazing people base there entire life and beliefs on a book such as the bible, that has gone through countless translations, as well as changed by the church to suit there agenda during different periods.
