The Canadians have arrived!!

Let me be the first to welcome our aging, pale friends from the North. Your filthy minivans and SUVs now clutter our streets, you drive too slow, and I'm pretty sure you are responsible for the 5 - 10 degree drop in our temperatures down here.

Thus far it looks like the dirty Frenchies in Quebec are the first to arrive, but I'm sure the rest of you will soon follow. Should be a fun 3 months or so of driving!!

Thank you for taking our elderly off of our hands and making our roads a safer place!

Best of luck with them.

Also, must be either the French ones or the ones who travel that far south that drive slow. When I head into Washington state from BC I usually feel like a race car driver flying past American drivers, with me blowing past the speed limit by upwards of 10mph!

Hey, my uncle is a French Canadian snow bird in his seventies. Nice guy, retired school principal.

Here on the Tampa/St Pete side most are from Ontario.. so while they are still Canadian, at least they are dirty french ones.

To be honest when I was snowboarding in whistler, I thought the canadians to be extremely friendly. I wouldn't mind living in a community like that. But too damn cold

Oh god I've already seen the Quebec plates, the black socks with sandals, the terrible hats, and the atrocious driving. No wonder 95 has been a nightmare every day this week

I don't mind so much the Vermonters and the Connecticutians. The New Yorkers are pretty bad cuz they drive like us, just more dicky. But the Canucks (all of them as a group) are HORRIBLE at driving.

To be fair though, you seem to be one of the better Canadians since you know the proper system of units to use.

As a canadian, I agree 100%... I have never seen worse drivers than the people in this country.

I hit 95 on the freeway this morning on my motorcycle. Traffic was light. 😎

Lots of Canucks in Florida. I go there every year for vacation. Thinking about buying some property in the Clearwater area.

Yup, ... the Snowturds are here.

They started arriving about three weeks ago and are now in full force. I expect the next time I see an empty bar stool or restaurant table will be after Easter.

A lot of Ontario vehicles on the roads in my area; I can't recall more than 2 or 3 of them annoying me. NJ drivers: "I'm the most important person on the road" attitude of driving. PA* drivers: "Our speed limits in cities are 25, therefore I'm going to go 23 in the city, regardless of whether it's a 30mph or 45mph zone (but 65 in a 55 mph zone.)"

*excludes PA drivers from Philly area: "I'm the most important person on the road, and wayyyy more important than NJ drivers."

You're forgetting why the Canadians are bad drivers - it's not all the Canadians; just the Quebecois. They do it to spite us for not having our signs in French as well as English, with French on top.

I was behind a 90's Cadillac today with a Quebec plate. In the right lane (of a 2 lane left turn area). He waited through my 19 second horn blast to make a u-turn while every other person in the left lane went through. I almost threw a can of soda as he made the turn.
