I wonder how long before local swat starts carrying those.

I don't see them as being useful in any situation. The time required to switch the weapon between modes as well as the time it takes for the eyes to focus on the screen negate any advantage they would otherwise have. I take that back, it would be useful in a *sustained* firefight, which is not anything a SWAT or similar team is likely to encounter.

Then ATF can pack them for the next Waco seige.

looks good at first.. but in the video, it actually looked like those guys were exposed to fire regardless of the "corner shot" in some parts

I cannot view it from work but is it something that shoots around corners (or adjusts to do it)?

History Channel has Mail Call and they talked about the Army's future weapons testing group that were looking at the next generation of rifle which had some of those features.

I'm sorry, but since when so SWAT teams use handguns, that's a great way to get raped. Not to mention, if the bad guys see a little camera thing around the corner, they'll just shot straight through the drywall. Yes, there are limited uses, but most of the time you're just going to end up giving your position away.

What's up with the 80s Drivers' Ed music??? Cornershot... reminds me of some Nerf or Supersoaker gimmick.

There used to be a corner shot nerf gun. I owned one.
