Pretty much this. The GF is a True Detective fan so I'm already on HBO but as soon at the Ballers intro starts I find something... anything else to watch for 30 mins before changing it right back to HBO for The Brink.

Sorry this generation of comedic actors... Jim Carrey, Will Ferrell, Steve what's his face from The Office, and to an extent Adam Sandler. Incredibly annoying on any screen.

I have no problems with guys like Hanks or Robin Williams. They have a full range to their acting prowess and command respect. Those other guys are fricken clowns.

Have you seen "Steve what's his face from The Office" in Foxcatcher or Little Miss Sunshine?
Have you seen Jim Carrey in The Majestic, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind or even The Truman Show?

They are tremendous actors -- don't underestimate them.

I keep telling my buddy this same thing -- "Last night was the best episode YET!" It's silly how it gets better and better. Season almost done though
