We have been asked to dress up, clean up the outside and inside of our cubicles, as well as refrain from talking in the halls. I suggested we have a "Welcome Bobs" banner but that was shot down by management.
I have heard that they come by every few years to try to cut costs. Their usual answer is to outsource (we provide telephonic support for a wide variety of information products). The last time they suggested a third-world country; the firms that pay alot of money for our support said they would cancel their contract if we moved out of the US.
