I can only find this spinning in right wing circles. But clean needle programs and safe houses have been a thing...forever. Put it in optics of a pandemic and trying to reduce spread and strain on the health care system and it makes sense from a public health standpoint. But it's cool to ignore that and stick to our drugs are bad talking point and shove abstinence and ignoring problems down peoples throats.

Oh and cool dig at presidents' son being long time crack user. Cool cool.

You would think the OP took the time and verify how the phrase "racial equity" was taken out of context. Then again, I think he already knew that. Here is the quote from HHS

The idea is to mitigate the spread infections and disease. Of course the righties are experts at false labeling.

You obviously didn't read the whole article. But sure, if it makes you feel better to think that's the basis for the entire program when in reality it's just a TINY component of it. Whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Should be "Free Beacon claimed Biden distributing crack pipes".

The optics are terrible. Even if the program was only spending $3 out of the $30M on a crack pipe, millions of people are going to be pissed off that the government is spending $3 on a crack pipe. It won't matter in the slightest if there is a mountain of science to show that $3 now saves us $400B, millions of people will still be pissed off.
