The better RAM...

Ok, which is better? (Asus K8V Deluxe, A63 3000+, R9800P). Little to no overclocking.

2x Corsair XMS Extreme PC3200 2-3-3-6 T1

2x OCZ Enhanced Latency Series Platinum Edition PC3200 2-3-2-5

2x OCZ Enhanced Latency Series PC3200 2-3-2-5 1T

If you are doing no overclocking, then get the Platinum Series OCZ, I have heard of problems with the plain EL series. I would go onto Asus' website and find which memory they have tested with the board and which they recommend. I would also look at Mushkin, as their quality is only outmatched by their performance. Have fun!

In This order:

1) Kingston Hyperx PC3500 CAS2 (if you can find it)
2) Mushkin level1 PC3500
3) Corsair, not sure the model numbers..... but PC3500 CAS would be good

This is for OC'ing or not. The extract speed makes it more stable with more than one dimm in (I assume you are getting a gig)

Edit and I am the one who had problems with OCZ. PC4200 EL to be specific. Only ran at 200 at 2.5-6-6-16.

Thanks for the suggestion. And I'll definitely check out the Asus website.

Thanks for the ideas.

I think the Corsair will be too expensive for me so which is better between the 2 OCZ's I listed (for some reason, the Platinum Edition is costing $5 less than the regular).

What about the Mushkin level1 ? Remember, I had serious problems with the OCZ , and its not on the list of memory that is supposed to work for your board.

Well, I could go with this. And it is PC3500 which I guess wouldn't make a difference unless I overclock the FSB?

Is this stuff better than the OCZ stuff?:
