Agreed. I am indifferent to what XBMC looks like all I care about is that the box plays every single video format that I have ever thrown at it. I cannot say that about my computer(s).
 
Mine's XBMC. Second up would be Avalaunch.

I switched to XBMC because it's all I use my Xbox for anymore. Sometimes when people come over, they'll play a game -- but it's just as easy to launch it from XBMC as it is from Avalaunch.

Look in the XBMC Wiki section of the website. Customizing the .xml's make it unbeatable. But it's a sure pain to do. Once you do it you'll be happy as hell.
