I just removed a thermal pad from my FOP38 with my fingernail but there was residue left. I tried everything to get it off; ammonia, rubbing alcohol, soap! Nothing worked, didn't even put a dent in it. I asked my all-knowing mom for a home remedy.... vegetable oil. I applied some with a cotton swab and let it sit for about 3 minute and holy s**t!!! It cam right off clean. It's unbelievable.
