Ok i'm running norton 2002 with 256 mb ddr memory. It is really slowing down the startup time (loging on my desktop in win xp).

I need a virus scan that will do everything that norton does, only not use as much memory or system resorces

  • E-mail scanning
  • Reg scan (auto protect)

it would be great if it was free

ditto what SoloKid said. Or, alternatively, you can use Housecall from Trend Micro on an "on demand" basis, it just won't provide real time email scanning.
