The best value card

Which one would you guys consider it's the best card in the <$100 market? I'm thinking about the Geforce4 4200, but does anyone have a different opinion on that?

intersetd in this too, i just sold my 8500 and looking for somethign else, but i hardly play games, so i dunno...

The ti4200 is very good in the under $100 department. The 9600np is supposed to be cheap on black friday so you might consider it also.

Black Friday (Friday, November 28th this year) is the day after Thanksgiving (which is the fourth Thursday in November, for you non-US folks out there). It's the traditional start of the holiday shopping season in the US, and most retailers will have major sales starting that day and lasting through the holiday season.

Not sure entirely *why* it's called Black Friday, but "Black Friday" is also used to refer to the day the NYSE crashed in 1929.

I'm guessing it's called black friday because it's such a huge day for sales and is the official start of christmas shopping season. So the retailers make money, and are in the "black" as opposed to red. That's my theory at least.

As for the <100 range, I think the gf4 might be your best option. Personally, I'm waiting for some christmas price drops to upgrade my 8500le.
