for those of you who dont know...this sandwich is served mainly at the Grease Trucks....which are a bunch of brinks look-alike trucks made into makeshift kitchens. They stay in a parking lot off college ave all the time. Most of the sandwiches are named Fat ______. The food is fattening as hell... but soo goood

Fat Darrell was one of my favorites
 
the kid who that sandwich was named after went to my high school. btw, fat darrell was also my favorite "fat" sandwich, but u gotta get it without the veggies. the veggies from the grease trucks are made nasty and stale more often then not.

oh trust me. those sandwiches were fattening with a capital F. But it was soooo freaking good...especially while waiting for the buses when you are on your way back from a frat party and hammered off your ass. nothing else satisfied my hunger like a Fat Darrell or a Fat Bitch or a Fat Fvuk

yea...veggies are a big no no at the Grease Trucks. its all about how much meat and cheese you can cram in that sandwich!
 
They should use fried mozzerella sticks, then it would be perfect.

P.S. If you are going for a heart attack, why skimp? 😉

I tried a Fat Bitch once, it was pretty tasty, but I didn't feel right for the rest of the night. Look for the polaroids on the sides of the trucks to see what college girls will do/show for a free sandwich.😀

You might like the Fat Koko. That had cheese steak, french fries, mozz stix and tomato sauce. my fav.
 
Aint all sandwiches basically teh same? Some meat with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and dressing stuffed in 2 pieces of bread.

You obviously don't know anything about grease trucks. These are not just any sandwiches. These are one of the best damn things to fill a hungry belly (if u don't mind the sensation of grease clogging up your arteries afterwards). Luckily we have our own grease trucks at NJIT, however it's not quite the same authenticity of being at RU.
 
i dont know about you guys but here in LA, we don't use grease trucks, they are called roach coaches.

they are by no means anyones favorite anything. the are handy because the places they go to don't really have anyplace nearby to grab artery clogging, stanky smelling crap.
