The Best RAM?

Im looking for some extremely high quality overclocking RAM. Im going to go ahead and say that money is no object. Im going to be using a DFI Lanparty SLI-DR mobo, and an X2 4400. I plan to overclock the X2, and I dont know jack sh1t about overclocking RAM, so choose something appropriate for CPU OC'ing.

Thanks.

server ram with buffering and ECC, extra low CAS

lol

anyway,
get corsair XMS/XMS2, pay extra for the LEDs if you want

another vote for the vx. or some mushkin pc3500 level 2 bh-5. But good luck finding any. I have some though.🙂

pretty much nothing...

but i would recommend the mushkin pc4000 redline as it has consistently performed well and in some cases better than the ocz vx 4000 (from reviews i've seen)...

seems like these hit 260-270ish range with 3.4+ volts...

my vote is for the redline if you want utt/ch5/bh5

but for tccd...

i'd have to recommend the g.skill pc4400LE or the pc4800

ocz makes some good tccd as well.... but avoid the rev2 plat for now... i hear they are using tcc5 for those modules now and do not seem to be hitting over 300+ mhz as compared to the 4400LE and 4800

The VX is good for a 1GB set, and the Crucial is good for 2GB, but for the DFI boards, avoid Corsair RAM. It has been proven to have problems with these mobos.

I have the Corsair XMS TwinX-3200XLPro Led ram and it is Fing sweet.
Good luck to you.

I think im going to go with the OCZ VX, it looks like the best buy, and overclocks the best (tell me if im wrong)

the question is..

what mults you gonna have available?

you wanna do some major 1:1 high HTT? or lower 1:1 with tighter timings...

not that running dividers will hinder your performance that much... but just curious

Hmm, which ram should I get?

I currently have an nforce2 system. My fsb maxes out at around 230, and my mobo can only provide a max of 2.7V, any idea what would be the best ram for that?
Also, in the future I'd like to upgrade my system to a socket 939 system, so it'd be nice to have something that can do around 230fsb with low latency at 2.7V yet also do maybe 250 or 266mhz with low latency at whatever voltage.
