I'm not ashamed to admit that DLR Van Halen and the Scorpions (Animal Magnetism to Love at First Sting era) were my favorite bands in junior high school. 🙂

I was starting to wonder why it took someone so long to post a Journey song. Of course once Journey was mentioned its hard or damn near impossible to mention anyone better then them in a power ballad.

I wasn't born until '84 so I was a bit late to the party, but damn do I remember the 80's fondly. Gotta love being a 1st grader and rocking a friend's house with some GnR on his older brother's stereo.

A scary thought to add is that now that I've moved to Kentucky I'm finding a lot of this music on the modern rock stations. Not just a song an hour or anything; this is a major part of the music they play down here.
