THE BEST PC TO PC VOICE PROGRAM?

i have try both AIM, ICQ, and Windows Messenger/Netmeeting, their quality is good but can't work if you behind the firewall.

please post the best pc to pc phone/voice software you that you use and its work even behind the firewall.

I've had excellent luck with MS' GameVoice Share (free version).
There is even a dedicated GameVoice server that you can run on a machine (nice for hosting OOB chat during CS matches).

Requires only one port to be opened on a router. Much better than the dynamic port nightmares of the others you mentioned.

TallGeese- i downloaded the software, install it, but it didnt' work. how did you configure your router?

Using a dedicate GV server is easiest, since it only needs one port open to host chats:
* Setup dedicated server.
* Forward UDP port 59110 (that's the default; if you set it to some different port number during the GV server setup, then use that) from the machine running the dedicated server session.
* May still need to turn off "Discard PING from WAN side"

For peer chatting, this might be the way to go:
* Check out MS KnowledgeBase Article Q273874 - Game Voice: Unable to Start or Join Chat Through a Firewall or Proxy Server. This article applies specifically to GV 1.0. The current 1.5 version may be able to use the single port setup as listed in the dedicated server instructions above.
