Well im planning a overhaul upgrade on my outdated computer for future pc games. Im willing to stick with a p4 system since I know more about them then a AMD system.

But I trust user reviews more than site reviews, no offense to anandtech :). So if you can direct me in the right direction on which intel mobo I should get for gaming purposes I would be grateful.

Thanks!

if you can afford it the very best is the Granite bay mobos.

to save some bucks I'd go with an Intel i845PE chipset mobo. uses DDR memory and is very overclockable in general depending on mfgr.

Given than you can get a Granite bay board for $179.00 (myaopen.com), for about $40.00 more you will have a gaming system that will blow a 845PE/845GE based machine.
