Then I feel sorry for you. Apparently you've never actually had a GOOD wattamelon...Most of the crap sold in the grocery stores is just that...crap. Watermelons, cantalopes, honeydews...usually overwatered to increase size...at the cost of flavor, then picked too early.

For the record...a seeded watermelon is FAR BETTER than a "seedless" one...but the seeds are a PITA...unless you have a seed-spitting contest.
