Here is a pic of one from Central Grocery, home of the "original Muffaletta". Lots of great places to good a good muffuletta in N'awlins, hell lots of outstanding food period, but Central Grocery's muffaletta is still one of my favorite places to grab a bite.

That olive salad really makes the sammich, imo. Great tangy/acid/salt/olive flavor and nice crunch. I'll just put it on some lightly toasted bread and eat that.

I like Reuben's, but not with too much meat, every time I get one at Jason's Deli, I feel like I'm about to have a heart attack.

I like cubans a lot but I have my own press and replace the pickles with hot banana peppers. Takes them to another level.

And supposedly cubans sammiches were invented in Tampa. Never once had a good cuban in Tampa when I lived there. Miami and Orlando both have better offerings.

Been into paninis lately. Hot, smashed, crinkly bread texture, melted cheese, yum. Local place does them on giant ciabatta bread with a huge hot press.

Don't go to the Carnegie Deli in NYC then :)

My only problem with that sandwich, haven't had one unfortunately, is that it'd be pretty tough to get all of the flavor in one bite. I like the combination of all of the ingredients in a reuben in one bite and there's no way that'll happen with that sandwich. Looks tasty though.

You needed to cross the bay.

The wife loves this place and wanted me to post it for a local place.
