Neweggg seems to get lots of votes, I'll have to check them out.
Here's a short (I hope) story on customer service, from MWave, and it's a good one. My neighbor bought components for a system, including a mobo combo (Asus CUSL2-C, iP!!!-866 retail, 256MP PC133 MWave private label brand). I agreed to assemble and set it up for him, and all went well until I pulled the mobo out of the static bag. The HSF was hanging by one lug, the other busted off in transit (most likely).
I called MWave customer service, and the woman on the other end said she could either send me a new board after they received the broken one, or do a cross ship. She also said we were entitled to a new combo, as that's what my neighbor had paid for. I asked if I could put the cross ship charge on my credit card (no problem), and if she could send the cross-shipped board to my address (again, no problem). I also said we only really needed the board, and again, no problem.
Bottom line is I packed up and shipped the board back to MWave, and in two days another CUSL2-C board arrived. On my next credit card statement were two transactions from MWave, and charge and a credit. This is how customer service is supposed to operate. A big atta boy for MWave!
