When you answer, the colors encompass all of the shades, so maroon, would fall under red.

I think for a Corvette bright yellow, or blue, but for a Ferarri custom lime green would be pretty sweet.

Overall, lime green.

You just answered your question right there: it depends on the car.

And Ferraris will be best in red...

If you want to group at all, German sports cars are best in silver, British sports cars are best in British racing green, Italian sports cars in red, and Japanese sports cars in championship white...

[Edit] Oh, American sports cars...White with blue stripes (or vice-versa) of course :)

Again...depends on the car. If you get a non-red Ferrari...I worry about you. However, for a car like the M5, give me black.

Black, yellow, and red. Yellow with some black highlights looks good - hornet style.

Yellow is a horrible color on anything except public utility vehicles and only then so we can spot them easily.

I'd go for red, not the most practical color but sports cars arent supposed to be.

Cant really go wrong with black, red or dark blue. I have never been a fan of yellow cars. Too damn ugly, about ruins the car.

If a car looks good in any color, it will look good in black. Black is universally good.

That said, I like a deep red on Muscle Cars and a bright red on Italian vehicles. Old British roadsters look great in British Racing Green.

Ok...I hate to bring this up....again...but there is clearly no consensus within this thread on the proper definition of sports cars (vs GTs and others)

Yellow goes good with some cars, like a Lotus Esprit, or other Lotuses.

Says you. Thanks for proving my point.
You can fvck up any number of beautiful machines just by making them yellow.
