The Best Case Airflow

The best case airflow
The question is: What is the best way to position case fans to cool my 3.0c?

Here is what I have now:
#1,2 and 3 are in the back of the case.

Diagram

1. Vantec Tornado blowing towards #5
2. Vantec Tornado blowing towards #5
3. Regular case fan blowing towards #4
4. Vantec Tornado blowing towards the dotted line at the top which represents a grill.
Both 5 and 6 could be case fans. The heatsink is AeroCool HT-101
5. No fan
6. Vantec Tornado blowing towards #1 and #2

I could also place some regualr case fans in the front.

What would be the best airflow that can be conducted in this case? or did I get it right?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Right now its running: 3.0c @ 3.4 at 47c.

follow this simple strategy and you will be se.

Front/Side = in
Back/Top = out

thread = over.

btw, i hope you have industrial grade ear protection.

4 tornaods???? wow someone with a louder computer then me

anyway havbd the front and side ones blowing in and back and top blowing out
i used to have 2 side fans in mine and i had 1 in adn 1 out that worked well

Dang, 47C? What heatsink (cpu cooler) are you using? If you're using stock, consider up grading...

There was another thread on this somewhere else, but any way...

If you have 6 fans, I suppose the "Golden Rule" would be to have an equal numer of fans pushin in and pushing air out.

Food for thought...

Im using an AeroCool HT-101, all copper with pipes and everything. Maybe its my PSU that is bad. Im using a 480w psu from computergeeks that came with the demon case.

A bad PSU won't cause your CPU temps to be high. It might cause your computer to shut down, or blow up a hard drive or two, but it won't cause high temps. Which MB are you using, if you are using an IC7, 47C is normal.

there's nothing wrong with the IC7...it just reads higher temps than most other boards, that doesn't mean it's actually hotter.

It seems to me that you dont have an exhaust fan to get rid of the hot air generated by your CPU. That might be a problem, or did I interpret the drawing right?

are i reading it wrong or do you have 4 tornado fans? holy crap. u must have a high tolerance for noise.

l33t photoshop skillz fan direction pic, numbered in order (though I'd consider swapping #6 --thats a door intake fan btw 😛-- in for #4 and still less likely #5 for #3.
