Depending on the size, anywhere from a quart to 5 gallons of gasoline may be needed before you apply the theraputic match.

There are five of them each geared toward different types of stain. You'll find them in the paint dept. at Home Depot.


I recently had to get out an iced tea stain that sat dried in beige carpet for 6 months. Nothing worked including that O2 stuff that comes in the 2 cartridges, but liftoff did.

Worst case, put it on and cover with a wet towel so it can work a couple of hours.

I bought a $2 can of carpet cleaner at Wal Mart to clean a large spot on my carpet and it looks like new. Spray on, scrub in, dry, vacuum up.

Additionally, the wife and I bought a Bissel SpotBot to clean up the various random puke presents our cats leave us. We've also used it on some older stains. It works quite well, actually.

Theres an arm and hammer pet-stain remover with oxyclean. That stuff got out a 6 month old diet-pepsi stain. I was kind of impressed after I grabbed the wrong bottle, lol.
