Personally, I don't think I'd want to game on an atom class processor w/ 920mx @ 768p, with a bunch of deals lately in the ~$600 range getting at true i5, 8 gb, 1080p ips, and 1050/1050 TI, with 1060 or 1070 options still being somewhat reasonably priced (although way over budget).

oddly enough even with all the higher TDP parts, the laptop is lighter than the Asus P2540. You are losing out by getting a commercial grade vs business grade laptop though.
