I've been out of the CPU/Mobo loop for quite a while. I've decided to give my P4 2.4@3.0 GHZ setup to my parents, and want to try out something new. Now, I don't plan on overclocking at all.
What is the best combo, for the money, that I can get? I'd like fast performance and stability. There are so many variants of the A64 now it's kind of confusing. I'd like a chipset with PCI-Express, and one that is relatively future proof. Thanks.
