I second compGuy's suggestion - "Josie's on a vacation far away ...!".

also,

Eddie Money - Take Me Home Tonight

and

Boston - More Than a Feeling

but don't forget

Edit: This song is from 1993 my bad
James - Laid ("This bed is on fire with passion and love...")

Duran Duran - Hungry Like the Wolf
A-Ha - Take on Me
Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar on Me
Bon Jovi - Livin? on a Prayer
Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive

80's new wave/pop is easily my least favorite genre of music ever. I absolutely loathe all of those bands like Tears For Fears, Flock of Seagulls, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Culture Club, etc.

However, a lot of good hard rock/heavy metal emerged in the 80's as well and that's mostly what I listened to during that time.

Ok. I like No One Is To Blame by Howard Jones. I seriously think that is my favourite all-time 80s tune.

Pretty sure I had the same response in 100 other 80s tunes threads :p

Best 80's songs in what genre? The 80's were probably the best decade of music for rock, followed closely by the 70's. If you listen to a rock station, they continue to play a lot of music from the 80's.
