I like my Samsung 193p I don't game but my husband had one and thought it was great. He gave that to our son . He got himself a Samsung 243T that he likes very much. He hasn't really Gamed with it but I watched a DvD it was great. I think he is waiting on a R520 cross fire. I know he will be waiting a while because Conroe is at least 9 months away . So he uses mine.

I agree but at a much HIGHER premium than VP191b vs 930B. Here the price difference is less than $100. 193P is like... hahaha $600?

I don't like the 930B because you can't adjust it and it's defaultly too bright. If I could buy the VP191B at compusa, I would in a god damned heartbeat. I only buy monitors B&M though, thanks to a long history of problems.

My 930B has a bad backlight as well, but I don't see any point in returning it for another 6bit panel. If anyone knows of an 8bit panel with good response time that they sell at compusa, please let me know. I've got carry in warranty.

You know that was the biggest gamble of my life (besides my poker stuff), but yea. I definitely prefer B&M and thats why I tried 2 x 930Bs at Fry's. Returning the 2nd one soon.

The VP191b I finally decided to get at ZZF. I would rather have 1 dead pixel than a monitor that burns my eyes out. And guess what? 0 dead pixels! Yay!

You have a 70% chance of getting a no-dead-pixel monitor.
