Answer: OEM manufacturers normally provide better warranties and service than will be found with home built computer systems. This often comes as a trade off for performace and price. If you are looking for a run of the mill pc, an oem manufacturer might be for you. However, if you want specific, performace parts then building a system might be the better choice.

Agreed. And yes, Siemens sell computers... just in the USA.
