Who wants a cold one?

#1 reason that I can't wait to have my own apartment starting this weekend. I can fill half the fridge with beer if I'd like.

There were two things I wanted when we started to build the new house:

  • Room for a beer fridge in the garage
  • A whole house, natural gas powered, automatic failover generator.

I guess the only other thing I'd want is dual shower heads and a whirlpool bathtub.

Looks like my fridge. Just got a 24-pack of Sam Adams winter variety pack. Also have one Leinie HoneyWeiss, one Leinie BerryWeiss, some SimplerTimes, Sierra Nevada Celebration, Anchor Christmas Ale, Deschutes Jubeale, Boont Amber, Gordon Biersch WinterBock, and a 500 ml Weihenstephaner Korbinian for tomorrow night.

Free yourself from the tyranny of store bought beer. Brew your own! Although it may be a little late if you need it for a party on Saturday. 🙂

I do that too, but I like a little variety. When you are brewing in 6+ case volume variety is a little difficult. I've actually got a batch of honey brown that gets bottled on Saturday. Got a barleywine getting brewed shortly.

Doubtful that I can brew better than Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout.
