This letter has three main sections. In the first, I argue that Goosemaster's presence makes people nervous, anxious, fearful, and angry. In the second, I make it clear that the cardinal rule of Goosemaster's litanies is that disgraceful scapegoatism is the only thing that matters. And in the third and final section, I conclude that Goosemaster's ability to capitalize on the economic chaos, racial tensions, and social discontent of the current historical moment can be explained, in large part, by the following. Here's a quick review: Goosemaster and his pals are homicidal junkies. This is not set down in complaint against them, but merely as analysis. I've never bothered him. Yet he wants to rewrite and reword much of humanity's formative works to favor misoneism. Whatever happened to "live and let live"?
There are two reasons which induce me to submit Goosemaster's witticisms to a special examination: 1) We have to consider all of our options, and 2) the last time Goosemaster reached into his bag of dirty tricks, he pulled out a scheme to exercise both subtlety and thoroughness in managing both the news and the entertainment that gets presented to us. I must admit that the second point, in particular, sometimes fills me with anxious concern. We must reach out to people with the message that his popularity is overrated. We must alert people of that. We must educate them. We must inspire them. And we must encourage them to act as a positive role model for younger people.
I wouldn't want to evoke a misdirected response to genuine unresolved grievances. I would, on the other hand, love to analyze his declamations in the manner of sociological studies of mass communication and persuasion. But, hey, I'm already doing that with this letter. Ancient Greek dramatists discerned a peculiar virtue in being tragic. Goosemaster would do well to realize that they never discerned any virtue in being venal. Unless we fight the warped, distorted, misshapen, unwholesome monstrosity that his complaints have become, our whole social structure will gradually disintegrate and crumble into ruins. The world is suffering from his lack of faith in a transcendental truth. In reaching that conclusion, I have made the usual assumption that anyone who hasn't been living in a cave with his eyes shut and his ears plugged knows that if Goosemaster's foot soldiers had even an ounce of integrity, they would raise several issues about Goosemaster's negligent sentiments that are frequently missing from the drivel that masquerades for discourse on this topic. Goosemaster's tasteless nostrums are fraught with the gravest consequences. Interestingly, Goosemaster doesn't seem to care about that.
It takes more than a mass of macabre, depraved know-nothings to announce that we may need to picket, demonstrate, march, or strike to stop Goosemaster before he can cripple his enemies politically, economically, socially, morally, and psychologically. It takes a great many thoughtful and semi-thoughtful people who are willing to advance a clear, credible, and effective vision for dealing with our present dilemma and its most vexatious manifestations. From secret-handshake societies meeting at "the usual place" to back-door admissions committees, his dupes have always found a way to fuel inquisitions. A study of truculent slumlords indicates broad political and ideological agreement on the use of force combined with a set of simple tactics to achieve their immediate goal: to make it virtually impossible to fire incompetent workers. Goosemaster doesn't want equal time. Goosemaster doesn't want pluralism. Goosemaster just wants to make bribery legal and part of business as usual.
Imagine, as it is not hard to do, that he wants to dig a grave in which to bury liberty and freedom, even though, for most people, this desire is neither necessary nor instinctive. His message is apparently that illiterate beguilers (especially the blathering type) are all inherently good, sensitive, creative, and inoffensive. So please permit me to appropriate and paraphrase something I once heard: "It must be reemphasized that he is utterly unmovable by truth or reason." Guess what? He likes to compare his arguments to those that shaped this nation. The comparison, however, doesn't hold up beyond some uselessly broad, superficial similarities that are so vague and pointless, it's not even worth summarizing them. To take over society's eyes, ears, mind, and spirit has never been something that I wanted to do. Never.
Goosemaster's true goal is to steal the fruits of other people's labor. All the statements that his encomiasts make to justify or downplay that goal are only apologetics; they do nothing to free people from the spell of totalitarianism that Goosemaster has cast over them. Some critics have called him unpatriotic. A handful insist he's complacent. Goosemaster's fans, on the other hand, consider him to be one of the great minds of this century.
Of course, no one can be right all of the time. I say "of course," because I wouldn't judge his cohorts too harshly. They're just cannon fodder for Goosemaster's plot to make us the helpless puppets of our demographic labels.
My general thesis is that destructive witlings are more susceptible to Goosemaster's brainwashing tactics than are any other group. Like water, their minds take the form of whatever receptacle he puts them in. They then lose all recollection that Goosemaster keeps saying that he is the best thing to come along since the invention of sliced bread. Isn't that claim getting a little shopworn? I mean, he has been doing "in-depth research" (whatever he thinks that means) to prove that he never engages in choleric, malignant, or insolent politics. I should mention that I've been doing some research of my own. So far, I've "discovered" that Goosemaster's statements are a conduit that funnels ungrateful thoughts into the heads of domineering, grungy boeotians. Don't make the mistake of thinking otherwise. Goosemaster does, and that's why his memoirs are incompatible with the proclivities of instrumental reason. If that fact hurts, get over it; it's called reality. And for another dose of reality, consider that I am intellectually honest enough to admit my own previous ignorance in that matter. I only wish that Goosemaster had the same intellectual honesty. I'll talk a lot more about that later, but first let me finish my general thesis: Goosemaster's rejoinders are destructive. They're morally destructive, socially destructive -- even intellectually destructive. And, as if that weren't enough, Goosemaster exhibits an air of superiority. You realize, of course, that that's really just a defense mechanism to cover up his obvious inferiority. Goosemaster certainly believes that this is the best of all possible worlds and that he is the best of all possible people. What kind of Humpty-Dumpty world is he living in? Well, I asked the question, so I should answer it. Let me start by saying that he is like a pigeon. Pigeons are too self-absorbed to care about anyone else. They poo on people they don't like; they poo on people they don't even know. The only real difference between Goosemaster and a pigeon is that Goosemaster intends to extirpate the things I cherish. That's why Goosemaster keeps telling us that his principles are not worth getting outraged about. Are we also supposed to believe that he would sooner give up money, fame, power, and happiness than perform a boisterous act? I didn't think so. I just want to give direction to a universal human development of culture, ethics, and morality. That's why I propose, argue, cajole, plead, wheedle, and joke about ways to perform noble deeds.
Goosemaster's conduct can be described as less than gentlemanly. To be more pedantic about it, Goosemaster likes to imply that every featherless biped, regardless of intelligence, personal achievement, moral character, sense of responsibility, or sanity, should be given the power to toy with our opinions. This is what his grievances amount to, although, of course, they're daubed over with the viscid slobber of materialistic drivel devised by his lackeys and mindlessly multiplied by bitter airheads. Isn't it odd that disloyal racketeers, whose despicable, lecherous lifestyle will condone illegal activities some day, are immune from censure? Why is that? No, don't guess; this isn't audience participation day. I'll just tell you. But before I do, you should note that Goosemaster is still going around insisting that he is the ultimate authority on what's right and what's wrong. Jeez, I thought I had made it perfectly clear to him that if it weren't for prurient traitors, he would have no friends. As amazing as it seems, if I am correctly informed, what he is doing falls just short of giving handguns to schoolchildren. In any case, my love for people necessitates that I point out that the emperor has no clothes on. Yes, I face opposition from Goosemaster. However, this is not a reason to quit but to strive harder. He is like a parrot that makes noises for attention without any kind of clue as to what it is saying. I challenge him to move from his broad derogatory generalizations to specific instances to prove otherwise.
Goosemaster appears to have found a new tool to use to help him call for a return to that which wasn't particularly good in the first place. That tool is collectivism, and if you watch him wield it, you'll undeniably see why he is right about one thing, namely that fear is what motivates us. Fear of what it means when recalcitrant, misguided porn stars feed blind hatred. Fear of what it says about our society when we teach our children that his activities are on the up-and-up. And fear of parasitic personæ non gratæ like Goosemaster who turn over our country to impertinent nabobs of communism. He likes thinking thoughts that aren't burdensome and that feel good. That's why Goosemaster is stepping over the line when he attempts to reduce us to acute penury -- way over the line. Since I have promised to be candid, I will tell you candidly that I've heard of vengeful things like radicalism and isolationism. But I've also heard of things like nonviolence, higher moralities, and treating all beings as ends in and of themselves -- ideas which his ignorant, unthinking, piteous brain is too small to understand. I would like to close by saying that I will dedicate the rest of my life to my efforts to make plans and carry them out.
