No pics sorry 🙁

Nice hot 40'C day, water cool enough to be refreshing, but not so cold you can't get in.
Tasty chips.
GF was shopping so free to ogle everything out there 😉
WA is teh winnar 🙂

Only downside was that they were having some daft sculpture contest, so half the grassed area was covered in little mounds of plastic bags (wtf?), there was a huge aluminium whale skelton sculpture half-buried in the sand, etc. And of course groups of school kids being dragged around to look at them 😛

99% of my perfect day at the beach, and i thought i'd share it with you.

that's probably as hot as we get it, i think we've had a 43'C in perth, but they usually come along in mid summer (december/jan).

42 C = 107 F. Something isn't quite right here.

I have found the problem - you used an ambiguous abbreviation - WA.
🙂

what is "WA"??

Western Australia 😀

Lucky bastard.

My wife and I would love to visit Perth, WA Australia one day.

Funny that it costs the same to fly LA to Sydney than it does to fly Sydney to Perth.

42 C is friggin hot. We get highs of upper 30's here in mid-summer and that's hot as hell. I sure hope you don't get too much humidity; that's what makes it so uncomfortable here in Cancun when the temps are high. I like low 30's the best (upper 80's to low 90's F).

I guess it's 'cos it's a very long way, and a very low volume route 🙁
My folks have just moved over to Canberra, and i don't get to see them more than a couple times a year 'cos airfares are so pricey. It's been over a year since i have flown however, as i've driven over and back the last few times i've gone home 🙂

Now that is an experience everyone has to do at least once, drive across the Nullarbor from WA to those strange Eastern States
