Funny you mention grocery outlet.
I go there a few times a month.
I saw these Frozen cheese pizzas a few days ago that were shaped like football for 1.99. It said product of Italy.

Complete crap. Dry crust, shitty cheese and no-flavor sauce.

Freschetta frozen pizzas are generally 5.49 for reg. cheese or combo supreme meat pizzas at Grocery outlet

Mountain Mike's used to be the best IMO, but it's regional, only in the West.

Same with Round Table. Always better than Domino's Little Caesars, pizza Hut. They both cost a little more but pizza for under 10.00 is mostly shit.

As nakedfrog said. Just get a freshetta, maybe add a couple extra toppings, if you don't want to spend the money for a better pizza.

I used to love Round Table Pizza, they're now asking $40 for a large pizza. GTFO.

Aldi sells those novelty pizzas every so often. Halloween ones should be out now. I find them /alright/. Makes a good platform for hot sauce. But yea, they aren't great.

That thick backcrust scares me on the freschetta. That's my favorite part of a real pizza, but I've had 0% success getting a good one on a frozen pizza. I specifically avoid them. I've probably had freschetta before, but I don't remember. I've had most of the big brands. The one I specifically remember hating is red baron.

This. The family really like RTP but good lord it's like $100 out the door when we go. We usually get some kind of xl pizza, wings, and at least 4 drinks. But it's only a 2x/yr type thing. I'll have to try Freschetta. My go to is DiGiorno, usually because it's on sale here at the Dollar General. Something like 2 for $7 or something like that and I just add more pepperoni and olives to it.

Red Baron has a few varieties, the Brick Oven is pretty decent, not particularly into their others.
As long as it's well-baked, the bready crust on the Freschetta is typically pretty breadstick-like IMO.

The DiGiornio sauce is a bit watery and flavorless for my tastes, always makes me think of the sauce in Spaghetti-Os. They seem to keep launching different varieties, I eventually gave up on them because the sauce always seem to be the same and just doesn't do it for me.

Just realized it's been a very long time since I actually had Pizza Hut or even went to sit and eat inside. I should probably go some time for old time sake. Apparently lot of them have been closing the dining area but ours is still open, except for when there are unforeseen circumcisions. :tearsofjoy:
